At Moncure Plywood, we are dedicated to practicing sustainable forestry practices. Doing so protects human health and safety by protecting air and water quality, soil, wildlife, and other resources. The timber that we purchase comes from legal and well-managed sources and we do not compromise our adherence to the principles of sustainable forestry to procure wood for our mill. All wood is procured through a network of wood supplier dealers. We require that all of our log suppliers adhere to best management practices and land owner outreach in order to promote sustainable forestry practices. Moncure Plywood emphasizes employee diligence as the best practicable means to continually improve the environmental performance of our operations. At Moncure Plywood, we practice forest sustainability not only to protect our present, but our future as well.
